The CTPR 2025 2nd cohort program consists of five modules that cover a range of topics related to telecommunications policy and regulation.

Module 1: Converged Policy and Regulations

This module focuses on how converged policy and regulation can support the evolving fixed and mobile ecosystem in ASEAN. It explores the regulatory challenges of a converging telecommunications landscape and the need for future-ready frameworks to address issues like cybersecurity, consumer protection, and spectrum management.

Module 2: Emerging Technologies and Networks

This module delves into the latest advancements in emerging technologies and networks, including AI regulation, Open RAN, and next-generation mobile networks like 6G. It also discusses the rise of Direct-to-Device satellite technologies and examines both the technical and regulatory aspects of these new technologies.

Module 3: Managing Spectrum to Maximise Social and Economic Benefits

This module emphasizes the critical role of spectrum management in social and economic progress. It covers best practices for fair and efficient spectrum use, explores how AI will transform telecommunications networks, and discusses strategies for attracting investment through fair licensing.

Module 4: Digital Business and Economics

This module explores the impact of AI on the telecommunications industry, policy, and business. It addresses mobile privacy principles, network security challenges, and the use of personal data in digital business, while also discussing the key policy levers needed to create a secure and inclusive digital economy.

Module 5: Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG)

This module provides insights into the growing importance of ESG in the telecommunications sector. It examines the interplay between inclusivity, sustainability, and responsible innovation, and explores how AI-powered solutions can contribute to greener operations.
