Registration Cancellation and Refund Policy

Converged Telecommunications Policy & Regulations (CTPR) Masterclass 2026

The Organising Committee of the CTPR Masterclass 2026 (MCMC, MMU, GSMA, and CNERGY) understands that unforeseen corporate or personal circumstances may occasionally prevent registered participants from attending the masterclass. Refund requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis and are strictly subject to the terms outlined below.

1. Exceptional Circumstances

Refund requests will only be considered under exceptional circumstances, including but not limited to:

  • Serious medical emergencies (supported by an official medical certificate).

  • Immediate family bereavement.

  • Significant, unforeseen corporate or national regulatory emergencies beyond the participant's control.

  • Other circumstances deemed reasonable by the Organising Committee.

Note: Submission of a refund request does not guarantee approval.

2. Supporting Documentation

All refund requests must be accompanied by appropriate, official supporting documentation. Examples include:

  • A medical certificate issued by a registered healthcare practitioner.

  • A death certificate or official obituary notice.

  • Official corporate documentation or employer verification relating to the unforeseen corporate emergency.

  • Incomplete requests will not be processed or considered.

3. Refund Request Procedure

Participants or their sponsoring organisations seeking a refund must:

  • Prepare a written explanation outlining the precise reason for the refund request.

  • Attach all relevant supporting documentation.

  • Submit the request via email to the CNERGY team.

  • Subject Line: CTPR 2026 Refund Request – [Participant Name] – [Cohort Number]

4. Review and Decision Process

Upon receipt of a refund request, the Organising Committee will:

  • Acknowledge receipt within five (5) business days.

  • Review the merits of the request alongside the submitted supporting documentation.

  • Communicate the final decision via email within fifteen (15) business days from the date of acknowledgement.

All decisions made by the Organising Committee shall be final.

5. Refund Request Deadline

Refund requests must be submitted no later than seven (7) calendar days before the commencement date of the participant's registered cohort. Requests received after this deadline will not be considered, except in sudden, documented cases involving serious medical emergencies.

6. Refund Amount

Approved refunds may be granted as either a full refund or a partial refund, depending on the timing of the request, the circumstances, and any operational costs or venue-related overheads already committed by the organisers.

7. Administrative and Processing Charges

All approved refunds are subject to deductions for non-refundable external transaction fees, including:

  • Wix / Stripe payment gateway charges.

  • Local FPX online banking transaction fees.

  • International wire or currency conversion charges (for USD payments).

  • Administrative processing costs.

8. No-Show Policy

Participants who fail to attend their designated cohort sessions without prior written notification and formal acknowledgement from the committee shall be categorized as a "No-Show" and will not be eligible for any refund or seat rollover.

9. Transfer of Registration (Substitution)

Because corporate schedules change frequently, registration transfers to another qualified participant from the same organisation are highly encouraged:

  • Transfer requests must be submitted in writing at least seven (7) days prior to the cohort start date.

  • Approvals are subject to the committee's review to ensure the substitute participant meets the professional profile of the masterclass.

10. Force Majeure

Should any cohort of CTPR 2026 be postponed, rescheduled, converted to a virtual/hybrid format, or cancelled due to circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the organisers—including but not limited to natural disasters, government directives, public health emergencies, civil unrest, or catastrophic technical/infrastructure failures—the Organising Committee reserves the right to amend the masterclass formats, dates, or venues as necessary. Any applicable revised refund or seat rollover arrangements will be communicated to registered participants or their sponsoring HR departments in due course.

By completing the registration process and processing payment through the CNERGY payment gateway, participants and their sponsoring organisations acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Registration Cancellation and Refund Policy Terms.
