The 2-day training teaches employees how to use Power BI for efficient data management and analysis, including data modeling, visualizations, and publishing content. It provides best practices and real-life scenarios to reinforce learning, enabling participants to streamline their workflows.

Description:

After completing the workshop, the participants will be able to import data into Power BI and shape data with Power Query Editor. Topics cover basic understanding on Power Bi desktop interfaces and data transformation.

Ts. Dr. Noramiza Hashim is an experienced senior lecturer in the Faculty of Computing and Informatics at Multimedia University, with 15 years of experience in the education sector. She is also a trainer, supervisor, and researcher, with expertise in communicating and engaging with audiences both online and offline. She holds a Ph.D. in Information Technology and is registered as a Professional Technologist under the Malaysia Board of Technologists. Her teaching spans from foundation to postgraduate levels, and her research expertise is in image processing. She has completed several research and industry-related projects in image and video processing, object retrieval, and gesture recognition. Additionally, she has led workshops on online safety and visual programming and provided Power BI Essentials training for various organizations.

Dr. Aziah Ali is a lecturer at Multimedia University who teaches courses such as Web Programming, Computer Graphics, Digital Image Processing and Multimedia Fundamental courses. She is passionate about imparting wisdom and knowledge to students and continuously pursues lifelong learning with the objective of upskilling herself with new technologies and building her research networks. Her research interests include image and signal processing focusing on biomedical field, and she is proficient in MATLAB, Python, PowerBI, Google Looker Studio, SQL, PHP, and HTML. Dr. Aziah is also involved as instructors and content developers for several courses and trainings mainly related to big data, programming, web development and online safety for school students, university students (local and international), and professionals.
